Buttenfield (3-0) walked one and struck out six, dealing the Barnstormers their fourth loss in the last six games, dropping Lancaster back to three games under .500 at 24-27.
The Barnstormers picked up their only run in the top of the second to tie the game at 1-1. Jutt Hileman reached on an infield single up the third base line to start the inning. One out later, Lance Burkhart pounded a long double to left center to score the run. That double turned out to be Lancaster's only extra-base hit of the night.
